On May 14, 2018, HIT Robot Group (HRG) signed agreement with Temasek Polytechnic of Singapore (TP) on cooperation in research and development, robotics solutions for Singaporean enterprises, and incubation for high quality products and solutions in robot and smart manufacturing sectors.
HRG will work with TP to set up a business center in Singapore to present HRG’s offerings in Southeast Asia showcase several intelligent equipment and solutions of HRG.

Guests attended the signing ceremony include Lee Kwok Wei, Counsellor (Industry) of Embassy of The Republic of Singapore in China and Director of The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB)., Jireh Chua, Center Director of EDB’s Beijing Representative Office， Shi Shengjun, Vice President of HRG, Chen Qiuliang, General Manager of Hefei UP Robot Co., Ltd., Tan Siok Lie, TP’s Deputy Principal, Wong Kia Ngee, Director of School of Engineering at TP, Teo Sze Cheng, Director of International Relations Department at TP, Mu Liguo, President of Wanhe International Singapore, and Phun TK, Chairman of Republic Holdings Group.
During the meeting, representatives from Temasek Polytechnic and HRG gave brief introductions about their organizations, as well as their operation models and uniqueness. After that, the two sides continued their dialogues about how to maximize their advantages to focus on regional market and further scale their cooperation.

Prior to the meeting, Peter Lam and the delegates toured HRG's exhibition area where several products of smart factory, industrial robots, special operation robots, service robots and cultural tourism equipment are showcased.
Mr. Lam enthusiastically learned about the research and development and commercialization of HRG industrial robots and service robots, and the status quo of HRG’s industrial robot education system. He also praised the user-oriented concept behind HRG’s smart medical and rehabilitation products.
Temasek Polytechnic was founded in 1990 and is affiliated to Singapore’s Ministry of Education. It consists of five main schools: School of Business, School of Applied Sciences, School of Informatics & IT, School of Design, and School of Engineering. The university is acknowledged for its leading positions in educational methods, facilities and management and has cultivated a substantial number of talents for Singapore.
